例えば動詞を覚えてもらいたい時には動詞のワードサーチを、形容詞を覚えてもらいたい時には形容詞のワードサーチで単語を探してもらうという形で子どもちの学校でも取り入れられていました。

- Scrabble Junior: Scrabble Junior is a great game for kids who are just starting to learn how to spell. The game board is smaller and has special spaces for easy and more challenging words. Each player takes turns drawing letter tiles and placing them on the board to form words. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
- Boggle: Boggle is a fast-paced game where players have to find as many words as possible in a grid of lettered dice. Set a timer for 3-5 minutes and have the child find as many words as they can. Each word must be at least three letters long, and longer words earn more points.
- Word Search: Word search puzzles are a fun way to help kids practice spelling. Give the child a word search puzzle with words related to a theme or topic they are interested in, such as animals, sports, or holidays. They can circle the words they find to spell them correctly.
- Spelling Relay Race: Divide the kids into teams and have them race to spell out words. The first player on each team runs to a board or piece of paper with a word written on it, writes the word on a small whiteboard, and then runs back to tag the next player. The team that finishes first wins.
- Hangman: Hangman is a classic spelling game that never gets old. One player thinks of a word and draws dashes for each letter. The other player guesses letters to try to figure out the word. Each incorrect guess adds a part to the hangman, and the game continues until the word is guessed or the hangman is completed.
Remember to adjust the difficulty of the games to suit the child’s level and keep the games fun and engaging.
